Claims Collector

Job Summary

HeadsUp Healthcare is patient-first specialty managed care company for injured workers focusing exclusively on above the neck injuries. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Track billable services rendered with no bills received and contact providers to collect missing bills.
• Accurately and completely document all communications.
• Educate provider offices on the correct ways to submit bills.
• Analyze appointments to determine if a bill is required.
• Coordinate and upload incoming bills as necessary for distribution to Finance Dept.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required skills and abilities:

• Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Analytical ability with adept research skills
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must be able to multi-task, follow procedures and have active listening skills
• Bi-lingual is a plus
• Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Outlook and all MSOffice essentials

Education/Experience

• Contact Center experience a plus
• High School Diploma or GED
