Shipping Clerk / Lead

Full-Time – Great Temp to Hire Opportunity!

1st shift Monday to Thursday – 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Get Paid every Friday!

We are currently looking for a skilled Shipping Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and possess strong customer service skills, as they will be responsible for managing communication with customers, drivers, and suppliers, including responding to social media messages (WhatsApp). Proficiency in Office management tools, particularly Excel, OneDrive, Word, Outlook, and Teams, is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to clients, drivers, and suppliers.
Manage and promptly respond to social media messages (WhatsApp) in a professional manner.
Utilize Office suite applications for various tasks, including data management and communication.
Maintain a high level of organization and efficiency in daily shipping operations.
Resolve conflicts promptly and professionally as they arise.
Demonstrate dedication and accountability in all assigned duties.
Display effective communication and leadership abilities within the team.
Effectively manage facility organization and time allocation.
Delegate tasks to team members and establish clear deadlines for completion.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities as needed.
Embrace changes in job duties and demonstrate flexibility in role requirements.

Qualifications:

Must have 4 years of experience in shipping and team lead role required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
Basic math skills for measuring and recording data accurately.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Initially, the selected candidate will undergo training focused on shipping functions, with an emphasis on mastering this area. Subsequently, they will have the opportunity to learn receiving and production functions.
