Our Cincinnati office is a hub for Emergency Medical Services (Ambulance) billing. The Patient Relations Team operates in a small, friendly environment, fostering a sense of camaraderie. We are hiring one full-time employee to work the Day Shift, five days a week: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm.
Eligible for company performance-based bonuses 90 days after training
First, two weeks of training, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm, 40 hours per week mandatory (training is paid for by Medicount).
Position Summary: As a Member of our team, you will handle incoming telephone calls related to patient accounts. Your role will be to provide friendly, courteous, and professional assistance, answering queries and making necessary updates or corrections to the account. Your ability to resolve issues promptly and accurately, while maintaining a high level of follow-through, will be crucial to your success in this position.
Job Responsibilities
Answer all patient, insurance, and provider inquiries in a timely manner.
Read and interpret insurance explanations of benefits.
Handling inbound and outbound calls.
Accurately document all account communications and maintain all supporting documentation associated with the claim for the account.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Communicate with patients and medical facilities.
Collect payment and set up payment arrangements.
