voestalpine Signaling USA is seeking an IT Service Technician to work at its Loveland, Colorado location.

Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions

• Provide daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports on system health of digital monitoring systems.
• Direct customer contact and communication for North American customer base.
• Resolve issues reported by customers through telephone calls, emails, and service ticketing.
• Assist in the management of customer servers, FTP data feeds, databases, and VPNs.
• Error analysis and troubleshooting of electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical systems.
• Assist the with the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of voestalpine Signaling digital monitoring technologies as needed.
• Some domestic and international travel required (e.g., USA, CAN, MEX)
• Assist in the sale of spare parts as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred skills

· 2-year degree from a technical institute

· Atlassian software suite experience (Jira, Confluence, ETC)

· Basic railroad infrastructure knowledge and/or experience

· MS SQL or other Database experience
