Bi-Lingual Production Supervisor- (28)

Main Focus:

• Must be bi-lingual in English & Spanish
• 1st shift role, hours are 6am-3pm
• Prefer someone with experience in cosmetics, biotech, pharmaceuticals but will take general manufacturing experience
• Will manage 50-70 production workers

The Production Supervisor must be able to supervise production lines with changeovers throughout the day. Responsible for the safety, efficiency & quality of the production department. The Production Supervisor is responsible for training and mentoring all new Line Leaders. The Supervisor is also required to assist in all process improvement projects and line enhancements that are completed by management. They are also responsible for implementing all new procedures and processes required and implemented by management in relation to line operations. The Production Supervisor may need to cover second shift supervision as needed depending on scheduling needs.

To accomplish this objective, they must:

•Efficiently provide and utilize labor & equipment resources to execute to planned schedules in order to produce finished goods per customer expectations.

•Ensure that communication between warehouse and maintenance functions are positioned to provide the appropriate support for the production area.

•Create, maintain and enhance all production processes to create a continuous improvement culture.

•Ensure that all employees are adhering to GMPs, following safety protocols and are following company SOPs.

•Lead and develop production personnel across various levels (Line Leaders and direct labor).

•Partner with the other key team members to develop strategic direction, drive culture, and improve overall business performance.

•Make sure all processes are being executed timely and meet Management's expectations.

•Make sure the production area meets sanitation standards.

Required Outcomes:

•Customer orders are timely completed within quality/compliance and cost standards.

•Labor efficiency is achieved, and a continuous improvement environment is evident.

•Communication is clear to achieve the schedules and goals set.

•A production area that is organized, clean, safe, secure, and compliant.

•Proposals and solutions for achieving cost savings, production capability and/or ways to increase customer satisfaction are developed and implemented.

•Directly reporting team members show the clear behaviors and culture indicative of working for a leader that fosters collaboration, challenging responsibilities, ability to contribute, learning and growth in a positive work environment

•Coverage for second shift leading when the Night Shift Lead is out to provide continuity for the department.

Experience and Competencies Required

•3-5 years experience working in regulated manufacturing environment

•3-5 years experience leading teams and motivating employees in a positive environment

•Bi-lingual Spanish/English required

•Tenacious, determined, results-oriented, resourceful at collecting, processing and sharing information. •Fully developed skills and experience with Excel™, Access™ and MRP systems.
