Job Description
Director of Front Office Operations
This position allows for remote work but requires regular travel into the Northeast Territory, the candidate must reside in NY, CT, RI, MA, or Northern NJ.

The Director of Front Office Operations will report to the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle. In this role, you will manage, guide, and develop a team of Front Office Business Partners and work with key operational stakeholders to develop and executive front office operational strategy to optimize processes and workflows.
 
Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in strategic planning activities related to the optimization and success of front end of the revenue cycle
  • Facilitate and support the implementation of key initiatives to improve operational front office effectiveness
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and drive alignment and collaboration across cross-functional departments
  • Manage, coach, and develop Front Office Business Partners for an assigned territory to execute front office operational plans
  • Work closely with Front Office Business Partners to achieve best practice KPIs
  • Distribute front office metrics for the organization to operational leaders with recommendations for improvement as necessary
  • Monitor territory’s performance metrics and collaborate with key stakeholders to help formulate a plan of action for improvement as necessary to achieve industry best practice
  • Work with RCM and Operations to manage each clinic’s financial metrics including upfront collections collection, authorizations, registration errors, denials, etc.
  • Create strategic operational workflows to improve efficiency for front office processes through people, process, and technology optimization
  • Utilize reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools to provide data-driven measures for progress
  • Hire, train, and onboard new Front Office Business Partners and provide additional education and training as needed
  • Work closely with RCM, Operations and front office staff to implement protocols and policy/procedures to increase the performance of the front desk
  • Work with integrations team as new partners are onboarded to ensure front office workflows are set up appropriately
  • Ensure compliance with all front office operational procedures
  • Monitor front office IT issues and interface with Synergy as necessary
Experience
  • 3-4 years of strategy or project management experience
  • Experience in healthcare, therapy, or outpatient clinic settings is preferred

  • Excellent computer skills (Outlook, Work, Excel, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Raintree EMR preferred
