Sports Analyst / Content Creator - Intern

This unpaid (college credit if allowed by the Institution can be arranged) internship will appeal to those with strong Interest in sports journalism. Computer skills, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Social Media skills, experience with Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook is a plus Demonstrated strong project management skills. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to work on an extremely small team and work remotely.

Job Description:

• Gain unique sports writing and research experience to enhance your portfolio and resume

• Directly work with Content Directors to create and execute interview opportunities with top athletes from teams across the region/country.

• Cover assignments that range from breaking news coverage to tracking down results and leads on the phone, via email and other social media communication channels.

• Must be familiar with journalistic and interviewing standards and practices

• Must be comfortable interviewing sports personnel via phone, email or video chat

• Must be someone who has a flexible schedule, willing and able to communicate regularly through all communication channels.

• Must have strong writing skills and journalistic integrity
