Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months' salary unless otherwise specified.

Job Description
College of Professional Studies is seeking a Part-time Faculty to instruct the following summer course:
SCN 054 Sport Analytics
The Berlin Sport Analytics Academy at Syracuse University will provide students the opportunity to explore data's powerful role in understanding and prioritizing information to maintain a competitive advantage in the sports industry. Students will be exposed to analytics being used in a variety of sports, with students being given the opportunity to investigate more on their own. The course also offers the ability to learn valuable skills in various applications that are currently being used in Sport Analytics courses at SU and in the sport industry, including Excel, Tableau, R and more.
Qualifications

• Master's Degree preferred.
• Experience working with or engaging with the curriculum of the Sport Analytics Program at Syracuse University.

Job Specific Qualifications
Candidates must have teaching and/or professional experience in this field. Additional qualifications include:

• Experience with instructional design preferred
• The ability to be self-directed with broadly defined guidelines
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and efficiently with diverse people in a multidisciplinary environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct live class sessions and other discussions and activities.
• Prepare content including lectures, activities, and other relevant course materials in advance of class sessions.
• Grade assignments and exams quickly and provide relevant feedback to students
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours
• Collaborate co-instructors in submitting final grades according to University regulations
