Reports to: SVP, Operations
Location: San Diego Office
Work Schedule: Hybrid Work Schedule

Description:
We are looking for a leader to work in our San Diego Office and manage business units of Sales, Product, and Marketing in the United States which currently consists of a staff of 7 people. The key areas listed below are crucial to the success of the company growth:

This leader will report to our Senior VP of Sales and Marketing and have a strong interface with the VP of Creative to drive the execution of key deliverables needed to drive sustainable growth for the US Business. You’ll ensure teams’ alignment with overall strategy and customer requirements, drive the execution of training and development to improve pipeline deliverables, own and lead communication with internal teams of product, partner with Creative Team leaders and China Office. An understanding of Sales Forecasting and Marketing is crucial for effective decision-making and achieving revenue targets.

You will mentor and manage Sales and Product Teams to ensure that right training and development plans are in place to provide Teams of Excellence are working cohesively together.
Leading Product Managers in:
- Develop and maintain a Product strategy and roadmap
- In collaboration with Product, Creative and engineering teams, build seasonal characters, innovative products that excite customers and help our company achieve its business objectives
- Work with other product teams and other teams to create a framework of quantitative metrics that demonstrate the success or otherwise of product evolution and product marketing
- Be accountable for the commercial success of the capabilities you create in the products you are responsible for
- Define, own and communicate the product roadmap and prioritization (including development of business cases) to best determine how to service new customer acquisition, retention and conversion
- Build and lead effective teams of product managers, engineers, and designers that continually improve and deliver value to our customers
- Contribute to the improvement of product leadership capability

Leading Sales Team in:
- Identify new business opportunities, increase profitability, and accelerate growth for the Company through the selling of integrated supply chain solutions focusing on sourcing and product management
- Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives
- Define processes and data acquisition strategies
- Understand and effectively communicate the company's value prop, tech, process and current partnerships
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels, including negotiating and closing on major contracts
- Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial culture
- Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals
- Work with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service
- Develop and promote monthly and quarterly sales objectives.
- Draft detailed and accurate sales reports.
- Estimate sales volume and profit for new business.
- Meet with upper management to assess company performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- 12 years of experience in Product and Sales management
- Candidate must have consumer products development experience. (Seasonal products preferred)
- Candidate must have mass market sales experience. Preferably would be WM, Target, Costco, Home Depot but mass market of some kind a must.
- Candidate must have managed both sales and marketing positions-the longer and bigger the experience, the better.
- 5 years of experience building and shipping products
- Experience creating product roadmap(s) from conception to launch, driving the product vision, defining the GTM strategy, and leading design discussions
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of people management experience with direct reports.
- Experience managing day-to-day product, and design direction for large scale consumers
- Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, or Marketing
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders, achieve strategic goals and evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends."
Benefits & Compensation:
- Benefit package is competitive to market
- Salary Range estimate is: 150K – 200K
- Management Bonus Plan – 25% (Split into 2 payments a year).
Client offers a competitive bonus opportunity that consists of maximum payout of up to 25% per year. There are 3 levels of Tiers of Excellence to the bonus program which are dependent on specialized experience, individual performance and company revenue that are predetermined and benchmarked. The bonus program is paid out ½ in September and ½ in January.
