Bankruptcy Specialist

We are looking for a Bankruptcy Specialist/Processorresponsible for specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Exercise independent judgment and decision making while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
• Be a self-motivated professional capable of prioritizing multiple tasks under tight deadlines when necessary
• Ability to manage and meet court and client deadlines
• Assist with the drafting, processing, filing and service of bankruptcy documents for multiple attorneys in different states
• Communicate with clients
• Provide every client with respect and excellent service

Specific qualifications for the position include :

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least one year of bankruptcy experience in a legal assistant, paralegal, or similar role
• Sound working knowledge of the federal court system, including the CM/ECF filing system
• Experience with mortgage servicer platforms
• Exceptional computer processing skills, including high-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Bilingual (Spanish language) preferred, but not required

Pay Rate Range: $22.00-$40.00 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
