Position Summary:
 
Responsible for event production for virtual, hybrid and live meetings and up to 10,000 + persons. Events include, but not limited to, trainings, expos, roadshows, incentives, national meetings, virtual meetings and town halls. Excellent client management skills and uses effective communication to execute projects across all event components are crucial to the success of this role.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Collaborates with VP, Corporate Events and Meetings & Events team to research, plan, and execute technical components of internal/external events.
  • Assesses current enterprise events for areas of opportunity and growth in employee engagement.
  • Manages timelines and ensures consistent communication with department points of contact regarding meeting/event updates, project milestones, and deliverables.
  • Researches and implements virtual platforms specifically for events/meetings.
  • Reviews event goals and objectives to determine the correct platform (we may have multiple: Zoom, Microsoft Teams Live, Social Live w/Brightcove, etc.)
  • Outlines the technical needs of the events and aligns the required resources for success.
  • Coordinates and manages technical rehearsals.
  • Acts as the live technical producer for virtual, hybrid and live in-person meetings/events.
  • Manages technical event budget, monthly reporting, reconciliation, and cost saving reports.
  • Works with cross-function teams to ensure meeting objectives are met.
  • Outlines all audio/visual needs and creates program standardization.
  • Researches, negotiates and contracts audio/visual providers (Audio, Visual, Scenic and Internet).
  • Coordinates technical event logistics, oversees production, and pre- and post-event evaluations by working closely with Event Manager.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
 
Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or certification in Hospitality, Event Management, or Tourism preferred and a minimum of five (5) + years’ experience in Meeting/Event Production role or similar.
  • Experience with online registration and mobile app programs preferred (e.g. CVENT).
  • Experience with project management tools preferred (e.g. Wrike, Teams, and Asana).
  • Proven experience and ability in Project Management required.
  • Experience with budget management, financial tracking, and contract negotiations required.
  • Solid experience with logistics and audio/visual involved with event planning required.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this roles is between $83,000 and $124,000. Your base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge/skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.
