Job Summary-Overview
LA Foods is looking for an energetic, motivated, hardworking, food industry loving individual who is excited to have an opportunity to learn, develop and hone their skills in the fast-paced world of food sales from some of the best professionals in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Cold calls and qualifies new potential customers based on an established, set criteria
- Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool for account management, opportunity tracking, task management, logging and maintaining key customer data: contact information, prospective customer, wins, promotions, future business reviews, etc.
- Reaches out and makes contact with all inquires via website within 24 hours of submission request.
- Collaborates with a team of internal high-achievers to continue building, growing sales and identifying new opportunities.
- Primary point of contact for day-to-day Customer needs
- Increase sales with Existing Customers via Market Research, Customer Reporting, Facetime with Customer to identify customer desires/goals, work with internal buyers and Sales Force for product ideation
- Ensure all deadlines are met and buyers have sufficient time to work on items as it pertains to forecasts and pricing.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and drive customer satisfaction through superior service and execution
- Acquire new accounts via leads, cold-calling and other strategic selling solutions
- Gains expertise in sales consultation to ensure sales process development.
- Participates in and conducts regular business reviews as required
- Assist in identifying and driving continuous improvement in our processes.

At a minimum, you have...
- High School Diploma or GED, preferably a bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, supply chain
- 0-2 years of sales and or marketing, (preferably in the food industry)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, CRM
