Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Clerk. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory, conducting regular audits, and ensuring proper stocking levels. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

               •             Receive, unpack, and label incoming shipments of inventory

               •             Verify contents of shipments against purchase orders and packing lists

               •             Enter inventory data into company database or inventory management software

               •             Organize and store inventory in designated areas

               •             Conduct regular inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accuracy

               •             Generate reports detailing inventory levels, stock movements, and shortages

               •             Communicate with vendors regarding orders and discrepancies

               •             Assist in the disposal of obsolete or expired inventory items

               •             Collaborate with other departments to fulfill inventory requests and maintain adequate stock levels

               •             Follow company policies and procedures regarding inventory management and security

Qualifications:

               •             High school diploma or equivalent

               •             Prior experience in inventory management or related field preferred

               •             Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite

               •             Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail

               •             Excellent organizational and time management skills

               •             Ability to lift and move heavy objects

               •             Effective communication and teamwork abilities

               •             Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
