Electrical CAD Drafter / Designer

We are seeking an Electrical CAD Drafter to become an integral part of our team! You will assist in the design and development of Measurement and Control Systems installed in Industrial Production facilities.

Duties/Essential Job Functions:

• Working closely with the appropriate Engineering functions, generate and maintain technical documentation including, but not limited to:
  • Electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic control schematics and diagrams
  • Informational drawings
  • Electronic schematics
  • Electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Mechanical details, layouts, and assemblies
  • Procedures
  • Manuals
• Provide support to Sales proposal generation activities. Assist with component pricing and specification research.
• Provide administration support for the maintenance of technical libraries.

Equipment Used:

• PCs and associated peripheral equipment. Microsoft applications as well as various 3rd party applications
• AutoCAD 2D

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
• General knowledge of PLC's and Drives
• Five years minimum work experience directly relating to the generation of technical documentation.
• Computer skills. PC literate.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Planning, organizational and time management abilities.
• Self-directed with the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
