Seven Seas Water Group (www.sevenseaswater.com) is a portfolio company owned by investment funds managed by Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (“MSIP”). Seven Seas Water Group operates two businesses within the water infrastructure space. Seven Seas Water (“SSW”), which provides water treatment and desalination for governmental and industrial customers in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean, and the AUC Group (www.aucgroup.net), which provides decentralized wastewater treatment plants for industrial and municipal customers in the United States. Seven Seas Water delivers ~18 billion gallons of clean water annually via the Water-as-a-Service (“WaaS”) business model. We operate 11 water treatment plants internationally. We have more than 140 wastewater treatment plants under lease in the United States with property developers, municipal customers, and utility districts. Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee all aspects of the company’s engineering activities. The candidate must be to manage and expand a high-performance team of design engineers, project managers, draftsmen & procurement talent to execute on the entire scope of deliverables as dictated by water sale agreement contracts and other company initiatives. This includes but is not limited to the turn-key design and construction of water treatment plants that encompass technologies such as SWRO, BWRO and WWT technologies. Ideal candidates will be either based from Tampa, or willing to relocate to the Tampa market. The company does work a hybrid schedule from the Tampa office 2-3 days per week.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include oversight of a team that executes on the following:

· Expand & integrate design engineering/budgeting team that is capable of efficiently working with the business development team to execute on proposals.

· Expand and integrate design engineering & project management team functions and processes

· Expand and integrate project management team & procurement/logistics functions and processes.

·Work with business development team to develop conceptual designs & budgets for proposals.

·Work with design engineers to ensure creative, cost effective, efficient & reliable designs that meet the contract criteria and operate efficiently and profitably.

· Balance building conceptual designs sufficient for budgeting and complete designs per contract once awarded.

· Work with project managers to ensure their success in the execution of turn-key projects

· Work with project teams and procurement/logistics team to coordinate execution of timely supply of goods and services.

· Develop various related support functions both in-house & externally as required such as drafting, specialty engineering, well drilling etc. as needed for efficient project execution

· Orchestrate people/teams to work on various projects in various stages simultaneously.

· Anticipate and execute on design engineering and project needs to ensure smooth and consistent workflow from inception through plant start-up and commissioning.

·Make Decisions: Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks to make decisions in the best interests of the organization.

·Work in a team environment with Business Development, Finance, Operations, EHS and HR to ensure all engineering projects are successfully delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Requirements:

Key skills and Qualifications

· Strong record of managing engineering personnel to complete projects on within cost and timeline constraints

· Strong record of managing projects with civil and construction scopes

· Experience handling budgets a minimum of $15 million.

· Working knowledge of process controls, SCADA systems, and functional description of process design.

· Excellent client-facing skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, bi-lingual a plus.

· Solid organizational skills including a high attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

· Self-motivated team player who values timelines, cooperations, collaboration, and effectiveness.

· Behave ethically: understand ethical behavior and business practices to ensure behavior is consistent and aligned with values of the organization.

· Must live in the Tampa market and have ability to work hybrid schedule (2 days per week in the office required).

· Ability to travel up to 25% as needed throughout U.S, Caribbean, South America, or other international locations as needed.


Education and Experience

· BS in Engineering required, preference in chemical, mechanical, or commensurate degree is preferred.

· PMP certification preferred.

· 10-20 years related experience in Project Engineering/Management strongly preferred.

· 5-15 years related experience in the desalination water treatment industry is strongly preferred.
