Material Handler 2nd Shift

Material Handlers is responsible for several duties at Presence from Innovation (PFI), Material Handlers support production and fulfillment by loading and unloading material within the production facility and the fulfillment center. The candidate must be flexible and be able to work as part of a team. Duties include sage and efficient forklift truck operation, bulk loading, and sorting of waste materials. They are on and off their feet though the entire shift, loading and unloading materials, supplies and other packages from various locations, delivery trucks and loading docks. Material handlers account for the transportation of goods and keeping specific counts of items that have been moved. They utilize hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move material to and from production, fulfillment, and warehouse areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to Navigate within the MRP Software
• Experience with Bar Coding/Ability to operate the scan guns in order to accurately track inventory
• Relieves Machine Operators for breaks
• Primary job functions require exercising Interdependent judgment.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Ability to operate Propane Sit-down forklifts and Stand-up electric reach forklifts
• Ability to work overtime and some weekends

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Education or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years of experience

PREFERRED SKILLS

• MRP Experience a plus
