Day Camp Business Manager

Your Role:

As Business Manager, you assist the Camp Director to manage the business operations of day camp and provide logistical support to staff and volunteers.

• Organize, purchase, store and inventory program supplies and equipment
• Maintain a day camp budget, ensuring necessary supplies are purchased and distributed to staff members
• Assist Camp Director in the preparation, training and implementation of day camp programs
• Organize camper health history information and assist with collection of required registration paperwork. Provide weekly registration reports to Camp Director.
• Review program plans with staff and provide logistic support, as needed
• Perform other duties, as assigned

Compensation: $123.00 - $138.00 daily rate.

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Able to work the full summer camp season - June 5, 2023 - August 15, 2023
• Ability to work with children and staff of different ages
• Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to keep financial records
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgement
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team setting with diverse persons
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification, or able to obtain certification before the first day of work
• Valid drivers' license, proof of insurance and access to reliable transportation (Daily and/or occasional travel may be required.)
