Stationary Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stationary Engineer to join our team. As a Stationary Engineer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various mechanical systems and equipment in our facility. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
- Operate and maintain mechanical systems, including boilers, HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, and other related equipment
- Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues as they arise
- Monitor and adjust controls to maintain proper temperature, pressure, and flow rates
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the facility

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Stationary Engineer or in a similar role is required
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of industrial maintenance practices
- Proficiency in HVAC/R systems and hydraulics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Operates and maintains the Central Utility Plant Equipment & Systems e.g., air compressors, boilers & associated waste systems, chillers, water towers.

• Must have Central Utility Plant experience in a commercial building. York Chiller repair, Chemical reading and Metasys experience.

Performs periodical maintenance (PM) on plant air compressors, boilers, chillers and associated system components, as outlined in the job plan procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
