A licensed Stationary Engineering is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Boiler and Chiller plant within the hotel. It is required that this individual have a 2nd Class Stationary Engineer License and will be responsible for performing all maintenance and troubleshooting, safety inspections, and repairs to equipment as well as responding to any needs related to the boilers, chillers, and corresponding equipment. The Licensed Shift Engineer will also perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems, using a windows-based computer system. Ability to read blueprints and schematics is preferred, along with basic trouble-shooting skills. A minimum of three years building maintenance experience is required with hotel experience preferred. Good communication skills are necessary.
