Job Description

The Quality Control Inspector will develop, implement, and periodically evaluate a program to ensure the organization’s production operations, from raw materials to finished products, meet the quality, integrity, and efficiency standards set by the organization.

5:00 am -2:30 pm including Saturdays as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Evaluates production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements.

Develops and implements quality standard testing and evaluation processes.

Facilitates communication among production divisions and management.

Assesses test results and approves recommended changes.

Conducts inspections and quality control checks.

Periodically reports status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and, when required, regulatory agencies.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Experience with dimensional inspection

Experience in magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing and PMI testing Ability to work independently to established procedures

Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to read blue prints Education and Experience: 2 years of related in quality control.

One opening: knowledge of welding specifications AWS & ASME CWI preferred.

The ability to maneuver in a shop or yard assembly environment. Extensive walking and standing, climbing on ladders, scaffolding , crouching, twisting, and stooping are often encountered
