The bank's focus has been sharpened, two new Oklahoma City banking offices have been opened, new products developed and offered and we have an experienced staff to service our customers. We will continue evaluating service enhancements with a goal of delivering all of the banking services you require, while remaining true to our community banking roots.

First National Bank of Oklahoma is an independently owned, financially strong, high growth bank seeking an experienced Loan Assistant. As a Loan Assistant, you will provide essential support to a fast-paced Loan Officer team at the Tulsa branch, currently located at 1203 E 33rd Street, Suite 200, Tulsa OK 74105, soon to be located at 1327 E 36th Street, Tulsa OK 74105 (under construction). This role assists with consumer, commercial, USDA, and SBA loan processing. This role is best suited for a high performing individual with strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, a “can do” attitude, and a desire to work with a high performing team that focuses on “outside the box” loan opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Loan Officers with consumer, commercial, USDA B&I, and SBA 7(a)/504 applications.
  • Gather borrower documentation and complete all pre-closing requirements.
  • Prepare loan document requests, coordinate closing packages, and assist with funding.
  • Submit mortgages, assignments, modifications, and other recordable items.
  • Maintain accurate loan files and assist with exception lists, past-due monitoring, and maturity tracking.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 3+ years of loan assistant experience required.
  • Experience in commercial lending; USDA/SBA exposure is a positive but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to work at the Tulsa branch.
  • Commitment to regulatory compliance, accuracy, and ethical standards.
