Client Services Specialist    

 

Summary Description & Primary Role

 

 

As a Client Services Specialist with Legacy Financial Group, you will spend your days focused on attending to our client’s needs.  From opening new accounts, to updating beneficiaries, to processing more complex transactions such as death claims, and executing trades with precision and accuracy.  In addition, you will act as a back up to the Client Experience Specialist to welcome clients and answer the phones.  This position requires the ability to work well in both a self-directed manner and in a collaborative team environment while embracing the firm’s core values.  We are a firm that embraces learning, change, process and technology, so we’ll count on your contributions to various projects that are part of a growing firm. 

 

Essential Responsibilities

           

·         Prepare/process/service client paperwork

·         Execute trades in client account with accuracy

·         Deliver high quality client service in a professional, caring, and compliant manner

·         Communicate effectively in person, in writing, and verbally with clients, prospects, and others in the organization

·         Back up the Client Experience Specialists by answering phones and greeting clients

·         Data entry

·         Serve as quality control point to ascertain that all paperwork, policies, and procedures for customer requests have been adhered to in accordance with all compliance requirements

·         Money management for distribution & contributions

·         Ensure clean data in all databases

·         Research and resolve work items from Custodian

·         Work with multiple investment companies to ensure client needs are met

·         Coordination of various tasks with operations as necessary

 

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Licensures

·         Undergraduate degree in Business

·         Administrative Assistant experience in office setting preferred

·         Knowledge of Redtail CRM, Morningstar Office, and eMoney a plus

·         Enthusiasm to help clients

·         Desire to serve clients based on the principle that Legacy Financial Group has a fiduciary duty to place client interests first

·         Diligent and detail oriented.

·         Professional demeanor, including being reliable and following-through on commitments

·         Ability to anticipate colleague and client needs

·         Savvy with technology with the ability to learn in-house programs and tools

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills

·         Ability to maintain full compliance with State and Federal Securities Laws and Legacy Financial Groups internal policies and procedures
