Sr. Business Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY: The Business Analyst role serves as the Operations expert and liaison between Operations and other functional areas.

Essential Functions:

• Serves as a key analyst on strategic company initiatives.
• Working with management at all levels of the organization to solicit detailed requirements for active and proposed projects.
• Working with technology and project management staff to determine feasibility and alternatives of proposed initiatives.
• Develop and maintain process flows for all core business areas.
• Be a change agent and work with management to facilitate programs that ensure departments within the company have the technical and logistical resources required to transition to new technologies and platforms
• Analyze business issues and recommend system controls and protocols to solve organizational issues.
• Facilitate creation and ongoing currency of job aids and training programs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 6+ years relevant experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Working knowledge of insurance company processes.
• Comfortable working in a matrixed environment.

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

• Typical office environment
• Primarily desk work requiring extensive repetitive motion to key and view information on a personal computer.
• Extended hours expected when business needs dictate.

Hybrid Work Schedule: 3 days onsite, up to 2 days remote
