Your Key Accountabilities

As our Business IT Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day IT operations while playing a key role in upgrading our ERP system.  Job responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first line support for hardware, software, and network issues;
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting PCs, printers, and other office technology;
  • Supporting the implementation of a new ERP system, including data validation and testing;
  • Generating and formatting reports and dashboards;
  • Documenting business processes, system changes, and user guides;
  • Providing end-user training on systems and applications;
  • Coordinating with internal IT and external vendors; and,
  • Other duties as needed.
Who we are looking for

Our success is based on individuals who are ready to make the most of their skills and prepared to tackle any challenge they face.  For this position, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience or technical certification;
  • Understanding of IT principles, business systems, and data structures;
  • Familiarity with Excel, SQL basics, and ERP/CRM systems;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; and,
  • Customer-service mindset with a collaborative approach.
Additional Information

This position is located at the Palm Commodities International, LLC facility in LaVergne, Tennessee.  This facility is a Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace, and pre-employment drug testing is required.
