We are looking to hire a qualified Math Resource Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year for RISE Academy Campus, opening in Fall of 2022. The teaching assignment may include grades between 7 to 12.

Responsibilities Include:

Planning:   

• Assisting with the implementation of programs and follow up ensuring consistency with the school’s mission and educational philosophy.   
• Working with staff for the purpose of planning and developing appropriate instruction.
• Facilitating and/or attending related meetings.

Providing Support:

• Providing training/coaching to others.
• Assisting with the selection and production of instructional materials and appropriate supplementary supplies.
• Working with groups of students.

Communicating:

• Communicating/Coordinating the educational efforts of the resource teacher and the classroom teachers.
• Demonstrating effective communication skills.
• Creating and providing timelines, schedules, and calendars

Reporting

• Completing appropriate reports.
• Providing an analysis of students performance data.
• Providing an analysis of program effectiveness.

Other Responsibilities:

• Substitute for classrooms when needed
• Attend parent meetings when needed
• As assigned by his/her immediate supervisor

Required Skills/Qualities:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Teaching experience
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
