Growing software company in Redmond, WA, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as an Accounting Manager.

Position Overview:

The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in leading the accounting department, overseeing various accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead month and quarter end close processes, collaborate with external auditors, and mentor a dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting and monthly reporting for multiple entities
• Lead month and quarter end close processes
• Partner with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Oversee operational accounting functions including AP, AR, and Billing
• Lead and supervise members on the accounting team
• Conduct technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex issues
• Streamline and implement new software and tools to enhance efficiency
• Analyze and review P&L and balance sheet accounts
• Mentor and develop accounting staff to support their professional growth

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Public accounting experience and/or CPA designation preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and/or revenue recognition standards
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus
• Prior experience in the software or technology industry preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment, excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail
