Junior Infrastructure Engineer (45104)

We're helping our downtown Des Moines financial client find a Junior Infrastructure Engineer for a contract position at their company. This individual will need to assist with production implementation and support of new and existing technologies. If you meet the qualifications below, send us your resume!       

Responsibilities:

• Assist with production implementation and support of new and existing technologies
• Maintain a high level of customer service
• Answer business partner’s calls, emails, and instant messages
• Identify, research, document, design solutions, and resolve issues by having direct interaction with business partners
• Learn and provide contributions by understanding technical functionality, usability, design, security, and operation of supported systems
• Research complex solutions in a fast-paced environment independently and collaboratively 
• Communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and business objectives to technical teams across the organization
• Train and educate users
• Initiate preventative technical measures when appropriate

Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in technology, science, engineering, or a math-related field or equivalent work experience
• Relevant internship or experience in an IT customer service, IT support, or IT troubleshooting role or related experience
• Strong technical and engineering mindset focusing on root cause analysis
• Ability to own a problem or situation from start to finish
• Strong planning, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication and time management skills
• Desire and ability to learn new technology and continuously grow
• Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
• Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products preferred
• Must be able to move 30 pounds as a physical requirement of the position
