Qualifications
Plan and direct development, application and maintenance of quality systems and procedures
Develop and implement inspection and test methods, techniques, equipment and facilities
Knowledge of electromechanical products
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a timely and efficient manner
Excellent communications skills with all levels of employees and management
Be able to write and review FAI reports in accordance with AS9102
Demonstrated knowledge and analytical skills for most types of inspection tools
Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and mechanical drawings including knowledge of
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Ability to develop quality standards, procedures and train personnel in their use
Familiarity with industry quality management standards such as AS9100/ISO 9001 and technical standards such as J-STD-001/IPC-610
Advanced computer skills required
Knowledge of statistical methods and their application
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
Supplier Quality Engineering / Supplier Development experience
10-15 years professional experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience working in a high reliability / aerospace product environment
Licenses, Certifications, etc
Six Sigma/Lean Green Belt certification
