Salary: $18-$20 per hour

Introduction to the Company

Home & Health Care Management is the oldest home health care agency in Northern California. Our agency specializes in delivering comprehensive in-home care and case management for older adults, children, and those living with disabilities across many counties. We use a matrix of Medi-Cal, Medicare and targeted health programs to find solutions that work for our clients.

Service Region/ Location

This is an in-office role in our Chico office.  This is not a remote role and requires you to work in our office.

 

Schedule

Weekdays, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with an hour for lunch. 

 

We are open to part-time work, for example if you can work every morning each day from 8am to noon, or every afternoon daily from 1pm to 5pm. 

 

Travel

No travel is required.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job you must be able to perform the following duties successfully:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls in a fast paced environment
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
  • Complete tasks as assigned in an efficient, accurate, and professional manner
  • Provide general support to our team members
  • Process incoming mail
  • Additional duties as required from your supervisor

 

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an office or customer service role or receptionist
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills and willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize projects, work relatively independently
  • Ability to answer a multiline system
  • Ability to manage a high phone call volume

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Eligible to be insured under our liability policy with a clean DMV report
  • Your own vehicle and proof of current auto insurance
  • COVID vaccinated or have an exemption.

 

Physical Requirements:

Conditional upon job offer is successfully passing a medical exam that tests amongst other things the ability to move, visual acuity, and hearing acuity. Physical requirement for this role specifically include

  • Sits, stands, bends, lifts, walks, and moves intermittently during working hours
  • Able to lift to 35 pounds without assistance
  • Able to drive intermittently

 

Compensation

Pay range is $18 to $20  per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

 

Benefits

For full-time employment, you will be eligible for health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, as well as Flexible Spending Account (FSA) after 60 days of employment.

 

Leave accrues starting on your first day of employment, and you can take paid vacation, sick and holiday leave after 90 days.


We offer a 401(k) matching up to 4% after 1 year of employment and 1,000 hours worked.
