Die Cut Operator (Print)

Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Die Cutter Operator to be part of our Finishing team. This person will set up and run the die-cut machine, ensure the job runs properly, and check quality throughout the run.

Shift: Days, Monday to Friday

Role and Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate the corrugated Finishing Die Cutter
• Understand the expectations of internal customers and suppliers
• Understand and follow procedures and processes
• Inspect finished products based on supplied specifications and standard quality criteria
• Abide by safety rules and procedures
• Review and analyze job orders for accuracy
• Complete all required paperwork, including recording materials used and time to complete various production tasks.
• Perform a self-quality control check before advancing tooling to the finishing area.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Qualifications and Education Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one-year related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a printing environment is preferred. Some experience in the operation of various hand tools is preferred. Must be able to work in a team environment.

Physical Conditions: Works in a manufacturing environment and will be required to wear foot and/or other personal protective equipment while performing duties in a manufacturing setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. In addition, the employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
