The Stephens PA program is a full-time, 27-month professional program, providing 13 months of didactic education and 14 months of clinical training. Clinical rotations include family medicine, women’s health, pediatrics, general surgery, internal medicine, behavioral medicine and emergency medicine. Stephens has partnered with area hospitals, clinics, private practice groups and individual providers to offer the highest quality clinical training by providers who are dedicated to their patients and to the students they teach.


The Stephens College Physician Assistant program is dedicated to transforming students into excellent clinicians who practice with compassion. The program emphasizes leadership within the profession while working in an inter-professional team.

Position Summary

Adjunct faculty member within the Physician Assistant Program. The candidate will course direct a 2-credit hour pharmacology course in the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.


The successful candidate will:

  • Serve as Course Director and teach lecture in Pharmacology courses
  • Evaluate students according to PA Program policies
Requirements:
  • Pharm D OR doctorate level health professional degree (MD, DO, PA)
  • Teaching experience preferred
  • All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work well with students and colleagues.
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri
