Assistant Principal

Saint Susanna Catholic School, in Plainfield, Indiana, is seeking an assistant principal effective with the 2024-2025 academic year. Saint Susanna has an enrollment of over 300 students in preschool through 8th grade, striving to foster each child's growth to realize their worth and reach their fullest God-given potential. Located in Hendricks County, Saint Susanna Catholic School continues to grow in its diversity and resources, with strong support from our parent and parish communities.

The dynamic individual we seek to fill this role must be, first and foremost, a practicing Catholic, deeply rooted in the faith, who strives to create a Christ-centered environment for the education of minds and hearts.

The ideal candidate will hold an IDOE administrator's license and have some experience in school administration as a lead teacher, assistant principal, dean, or other administrative role. Applicants must hold a valid Indiana teaching license.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing standardized assessments including ILEARN, IREAD, WIDA, and state reporting requirements
• Lead the school safety team, support teachers with behavior and discipline issues, and serve as a mentor teacher
• Equally important, this individual should be passionate about collaborating with the principal to uphold an excellent educational environment for our children through shared leadership of faculty and staff, curriculum development, marketing and outreach, technology and facilities management, and effective communication with students, parents, parishioners, and the local community.
