Job Description

Pride Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a 2-month contract assignment in North Charleston, SC. Hours are 40 hours/ week and can include occasional weekend scheduling. This position's primary reason is to assist with an increase in COVID specimen registration and processing and routing to the appropriate lab for testing.

Job Duties:

Rooming patients and obtaining vitals
Update all patient medications in the medication history at each visit.
Assist in business office responsibilities includes checking patients into our EMR (ARIA) system upon arrival, answering phones and patient scheduling
Facilitate the timely communication of clinical advice to patients electronically or by phone as directed

Qualifications:

BLS (AHA only) - Required
Current Certified Medical Assistant Certificate - Required
1 year of medical office experience is desired
HS Diploma or equivalent
Experience with EMR/EHR systems
