Job Description
The primary purpose of The Loader Yard position is to Organize materials, have tools available upon request and in good working condition for the shop and field employees. This position will also be responsible for washing and cleaning equipment that is returned from job sites and performing light building and facility maintenance.

- Maintain records of tools and equipment issued to and returned by field personnel.
- Receive, unpack, and store new tools and reorder as necessary to maintain inventory. Mark or identify tools with ICI name and serial number.
- Inspect tools for defects and wear and repair. Service or lubricate tools to maintain good working condition.
- Dispatch tools and material to job sites.
- Forklift operation/ load and unload trucks
- Wheel Loader operation/ loading trucks and pushing up materials.
- Washing Equipment and Vehicles coming off jobsites
- Support the tool room to work with shop and field staff requesting tools and related equipment. Fill their orders in a polite and timely manner, trouble shoot issues that arise.
- Handle building maintenance requests that are assigned through the supervisor that may include mowing grass, changing light bulbs, moving boxes or furniture, and any other related work duties that may arise in the facility.
- Maintain inventory of tools.
- Support and maintain a safe and Lean working environment.
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide previous employment records
- Self-driven and motivated
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanically inclined
- Forklift operation
- Ability to work with several different personality types and maintain great customer service skills
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow both verbal and written directions
- Basic computer knowledge
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Background in manufacturing, farming or construction environment is ideal
- Good sense of how tools operate and their function
- Non-Exempt Hourly $18-$25.00 per hour DOE
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and/or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders and work in inclement weather.
- The employee must frequently use fine hand manipulation (working with tools).
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- At times, may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position
- The position typically operates outdoors in all weather.
- This role routinely uses tools, heavy machinery, and drives company vehicles.
- The noise level in the work environment varies.
