Electronics Technician Part Time

Job Summary:  Teledyne FLIR is looking for an experienced professional electronics technician with experience with high reliability & mission critical applications to support R&D and Low-rate manufacturing activities associated with drone development & production.   This person must be located in Utah Valley or be able to commute daily to Orem, Utah for onsite work. 

Part time: 20-40 hours /week

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Must be experience and comfortable with small, precision, hand work

·        Detailed mechanical assembly of high-end parts

·        Small/Micro component, precision, soldering and assembly

·        Small/Micro: Wire harness assembly & crimping

·        SMT re-work, population, & assembly

·        Prototype assembly

·        Electronics configuration & interfacing

Job Qualifications:

·        5+ years of SMT re-work & electronics technician experience

·        Expert in micro soldering

·        Expert in SMT re-work/assembly

·        Comfortable with computers/spreadsheets/tools

·        Excellent communication skills

·        US Citizen
