Now Hiring: Electronics Engineering Technician Location: Lockport, IL 60441 (Onsite) Schedule: Full-Time Compensation: $27 - $36 per hour (based on experience)

We're seeking a skilled Electronics Engineering Technician who thrives in a hands-on, problem-solving environment. In this role, you'll be instrumental in troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and supporting advanced electronic systems-playing a direct role in ensuring product excellence and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do Troubleshooting, Repair & Calibration - Diagnose and repair PCB assemblies down to the component level using schematics and advanced test equipment
- Perform final assembly, calibration, and testing of electrical test and measurement products
- Service and repair customer-returned equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Documentation & Quality Assurance - Maintain detailed and accurate production records, including repair logs and inventory tracking
- Follow established manufacturing processes and quality control standards to ensure compliance
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency
Customer Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Communicate effectively with customers to troubleshoot issues and provide technical guidance
- Partner with engineering, production, sales, and purchasing teams to support product improvements
- Contribute to a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
What You'll Bring Education & Experience - Associate degree in Electronics (or equivalent military/technical training)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems
Technical Skills - Strong understanding of electrical and electronic theory
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
- Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and standard software applications
Additional Strengths - Experience with SMT soldering and de-soldering (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements - Ability to sit for extended periods while working on testing and calibration tasks
- Strong hand-eye coordination for precision assembly and diagnostics
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs as needed
