Are you looking to make an impact on the future of DoD technology? Do you have experience in electronics assembly? Do you like the idea of supporting engineering designs from testing through fielding? Come join the team at IS4S Orlando and help us create munition systems that will aid the warfighter in getting their job done.

Job Description:

IS4S is seeking an Electronics Engineering Technician who enjoys hands-on work with advanced electronic systems—from assembly and checkout to testing and production support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to contribute directly to building, verifying, and improving real hardware that supports critical defense programs.

Duties include performing circuit card assembly checkout using manual and automated test systems, soldering and integrating components, executing potting and post-potting verification procedures, mechanical assembly of parts, and maintaining accurate production and test documentation. Candidates should also be able to read both mechanical and electrical CAD and technical data packages (TDPs). Additionally, the candidates must be self-starters who are eager to learn, adaptable to changing technical challenges, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-reliability production environment.

Required Experience:

· Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Applied Science, or equivalent technical training

· 7+ years hands-on experience with electronic assembly and test.

· Experience operating automated test equipment / production test fixtures and logging results in manufacturing records.

· Experience in an AS9100 and ISO9001 quality management environment.

· Ability to follow controlled work instructions and comply with EHS and security procedures.

· Ability to work closely with a small, agile development team

· Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance

Desired Experience:

· Experience with SolidWorks CAD and Altium

· Experience in DoD weapons development or integration

· Experience in prototyping and manufacturing

· Experience with potting/encapsulation processes and post-pot validation in a production setting.

· Experience supporting high-rate production and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives.
