Retail Sales Floor Lead
Job Summary:

As a Retail Sales Floor Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving our store's sales by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining an organized sales floor, and leading by example. You will oversee the sales floor operations, manage a team of sales associates, and ensure customers have a positive shopping experience. Your leadership skills and retail expertise will contribute to our store meeting its sales targets and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Customer Service
    • Drive sales by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized solutions.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and resolving customer issues promptly.
    • Train and motivate sales associates to improve sales techniques and customer interaction.
  • perational Management
    • Oversee the visual merchandising of the sales floor, ensuring it is well-organized and visually appealing.
    • Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure stock levels are maintained and accurately reflected on the sales floor.
    • Implement and enforce store policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with the Store Manager and other department leads to achieve overall store objectives.
  • Customer Experience
    • Ensure the sales floor is clean, safe, and inviting for customers.
    • Address and escalate customer feedback to the Store Manager as necessary.
    • Stay informed about new products, services, and promotional activities to accurately inform customers.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail sales experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage operational tasks.
  • Knowledge of retail management systems and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs.
