Junior Civil Engineer/Drafter - Concrete Manufacturing - $70K to $110K

Stable and growing Precast Concrete manufacturer is seeking an experienced Structural or Civil Engineer to join its growing team 20 mins outside of Annapolis, MD!
The Structural Engineer ensures all products are sold and built according to customer requirements and that they are structurally sound and of high quality.
They support the sales and production teams on all aspects of a project including: Providing preliminary engineering to team when quoting complex
projects, perform structures design precast, manage the drafting of the submittal and production drawings and supporting the plant during the production phase of a project.

Job Responsibilities

-Prepare and provide calculations and drawings for precast structures
-Manage take-offs and Titan computer generated take-offs
-Final Review drawings provided by drafting team
-Provide support during the project management process for engineered product
-Provide support during the production of product for structural and safety questions and concerns that arise

Position Requirement

-3+ years of structural engineering experience in precast concrete
-Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
-Working knowledge of how to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings
-Perform Structural Analysis, Calculations, and Design
-Design experience in AutoCad or similar
-Take off/estimating experience
