Job description

Weโ€™re seeking a Senior Product Designer to support our client, a global entertainment company known for its beloved franchises. This temporary position is located in Glendale, CA. The role involves designing innovative costume and accessory products across licensed properties for costumes and related categories. Join a dynamic team focused on creating trending, consumer-centric product lines from concept to production.


Senior Product Designer - Hardlines / Softlines / Footwear Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute concept designs, sketches, prototypes, and modeling for trend-aware licensed costume products.
  • Oversee product and packaging approvals, maintaining high-quality standards in character representation and storytelling.
  • Create product mock-ups, presentation layouts, POV boards, activation kits, and retail pitch materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design, review, and refine products throughout development stages.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with licensees, vendors, and internal departments, providing clear feedback and facilitating approvals.


Senior Product Designer - Hardlines / Softlines / Footwear Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in costume, fashion, apparel, or consumer product design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of materials such as textiles, plastics, and print, with experience in prototyping and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in 3D product design, sketching, and technical development, including fabric and trim identification.
  • Experience in sewing, patternmaking, and costume/fashion design is preferred.
  • Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office is required.
