Daycare Van Driver

The Daycare Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting students and staff to and from school, activities, or programs as approved by the Center Director. They are also responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the vehicle.

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 25 per week

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate center transportation in compliance with state and center regulations.
- Ensure the safety of children under the driver's care.
- Maintain order and discipline during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff, responding courteously to their needs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the center vehicle, including arranging for servicing as needed.
- Adhere to all center policies and state regulations.
- Pursue personal and professional development to continuously improve service quality.
- Prior experience working with students, preferably age 5-12 Years.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

- Responsible, mature, and safety-conscious individual.
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years old.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations.

Educational Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Flexibility to move, stand, and bend as required by the position.

Experience:

- Childcare: 1 year (Required)
- School Van Driver: 1 year (Required)

You will need to complete all necessary documentation, medical forms, fingerprinting, and background checks.
