Ob/ Gyn Principal or Sr. Ultrasound Sonographer (Part-time)

Prin / Sr. Sonographer at 60% Part time appt. Positions are eligible for full benefits. Work schedule is typically Monday to Friday, with on-call coverage on Saturday (very infrequently, maybe 2-3 a year). If required to work in 2 sites on same day, will be paid door to door for time traveled from one location to another (i.e., SF Mission Bay to Marin location in Greenbrae, CA)
The UCSF Prenatal Diagnostic Center provides comprehensive counseling, screening and diagnostic testing for fetal disorders. The Prenatal Diagnostic Center is part of UCSF Women's Health – a nationally designated center of excellence in women's health – and patients are ensured the highest quality care and service. They benefit from the most advanced technologies and procedures. Our practitioners bring a wealth of experience and expertise, having performed more than 40,000 amniocentesis and 17,000 chorionic villus sampling procedures over the last 35 years.
In addition to providing the most advanced testing available, the Prenatal Diagnostic Center is working to develop less invasive methods for the screening and diagnosis of genetic and chromosomal disorders. Research studies are available for women interested in participating.
This position performs ultrasound to demonstrate anatomy in fetuses of pregnant women. Participates in improvement activities in department. he/she/they will maintain appropriate quality control records and participates in routine equipment testing and maintenance.
- 5 or more years of experience in a high risk obstetric ultrasound service required for Principle level classification.
- Less than 5 years experience in a high risk obstetric ultrasound service for Sr. Level classification
- Require RDMS in OB/GYN
- NT certification through FMF or NTQR

Have High-Risk OB/Perinatal/Maternal Fetal Medicine experience?
Candidate has 5 or more years in high-risk OB sonography in an acute care setting
