POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position works closely with and assists the Slots Manager and Shift Supervisors as needed; participates in the guest dispute resolution process; and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Slots floor during the course of his/her assigned shift. May work with other departments on a daily basis; participates in weekly division meetings. S/he ensures adherence to all Casino, State, Federal and Department policies, and procedures.

This position ensures the confidentiality, security and accuracy of guest’s and team member’s records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required with project deadlines and a neat well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position directly supervises Slot Supervisors and indirectly supervises Slot Host, Slot Technician I, II, & III.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential function of the Lead Slot Supervisor includes but is not limited to:

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Casino Slot floor.
Maintain accurate inventory lists and order supplies as needed.
Address machine malfunctions and customer complaints.
Oversees/follows proper procedures to ensure the protection of casino assets.
Promotes teamwork and cooperation with all departments for the benefit and service of casino guests.
Ensures that the highest possible standards of guest service and team member relations are maintained and carried out in a fair, timely, and equitable manner.
Responsible for the consistent training for all Slot department team members.
Promotes Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel programs and benefits all team members.
Schedule and maintain adequate staffing levels and ensure the Department Manager is aware of any/all issues.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure that Team Members Evaluations are prepared and presented in a timely manner.
Participate (with Department Manager approval) in disciplinary process.
