Job DescriptionCompany Description
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to become a part of our team! We are a specialty pharmacy that has a low volume of orders that need extra attention to detail. You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients, no compounding
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
- Process prescriptions using CPR+ and ScriptMed computer software
- Label and record dosage information
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
- Help with billing patient orders
- Receiving, picking and packing patient orders for shipping
Qualifications:
Must possess and maintain a valid pharmacy technician license in good standing with the California State Board of Pharmacy.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Understands the importance of teamwork
