Veterinary Client Care Specialist

Seeking an outgoing, experienced Client Care Specialist looking for a long-term position for a very busy single doctor veterinary practice focused on providing high quality medicine with a personal touch. DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):

* Greet & communicate with arriving clients; verify patient & client information & update patient records

* Establish & maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff & doctors

* Answer & triage phone calls

* Respond to phone & email inquiries

* Schedule appointments, surgeries & house calls; manipulate schedule to accommodate emergencies as needed

* Prepare check-in sheets, patient charts & other documents for appointments & surgical cases

* Assist in maintaining office inventory

* Process payments & balance receipts

* Assist with patient care & restraint

QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School Diploma (required); College degree (preferred)

* Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a busy office setting (medical practice preferred, veterinary experience ideal)

* Must be detail-oriented & work well both independently & as a team player
