Job Description
Event Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing global company in the cloud-based software industry! As our Event Coordinator, you'll be the driving force behind our presence at 20+ trade shows. From pre-planning to post-show analysis, you'll be at the forefront of our brand's success.
Responsibilities:
- Research, recommend, and manage marketing-related events for 20+ trade shows.
- Own assigned trade shows and ensure all tasks are complete by the event deadlines
- Manage end-to-end logistics from contract negotiations, pre and post-event marketing, event set-up and teardown in addition to overseeing trade show inventory and booth assets
- Help track, measure, and report our standard metrics across event marketing efforts.
- Represent the company at trade shows and other activities as needed.
- Support the events team with the planning and execution of company events
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the team goals and objectives
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of trade show or event marketing experience
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience negotiating contracts and handling complex budgets
- Owner mentality; willing to jump in and help with special projects
- Excellent project management and organization skills
- Sense of urgency, and ability to deliver results in tight timeline
- Proven track record of successful event planning and execution
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Experience using Salesforce, Marketo and Asana
Pay Rate:
- $40-$45.30/hour
