Contract and Claims Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Ensure that all contractual agreements are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

•Update and maintain customer contracts in the company's database

•Maintain strong working relationships with company business unit leaders

•Provide guidance and support to other departments on contractual matters

•Assist in-house legal counsel with research and drafting projects.

•May assist in insurance claims reporting.

•Position Reports to Company's In-House Legal/Risk Management Department

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications

•Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

•Able to work independently and as part of a team

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software is required.

Education and Experience:

•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field

•2+ years of experience in contract management or related field preferred. Legal Assistants and Paralegals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements:

•Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

•Mostly sedentary with some standing and walking required.

Compensación: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
