Job Description
Job Title: Manufacturing Assistant
Pay: $18/hr+
Shift: 1st
Job Duties:
- Operate plasma cutting machine.
- Layout, cut, and groove pipe with tape measurer.
- Loading, driving, and unloading materials.
- Operate all material handling equipment safely.
- Read and interpret hanger and weld layout sheets.
- Safely move pipe to various locations.
- Build small assemblies for customer orders.
- Perform preventative machine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Assist with all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to read tape measurer proficiently.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Working knowledge of machine shop equipment.
- Forklift experience.
