Position Overview

Daycon Products Company, a leading manufacturer and distributor of building maintenance supplies and services, is in search of a Field Service Representative to join our team based in Upper Marlboro, MD. This is an exciting opportunity for an entry to mid-level individual with basic knowledge of maintenance supplies (such as hardware, plumbing, electrical). In this role you will flex your customer service muscles and gain experience in many aspects of the business. This is not a sales position.

Hours: Core Work Hours 8am-5pm

Location: Daily travel to customer locations throughout MD, DC and VA; Home base can be out of your home or at Daycon HQ in Upper Marlboro (note that a company car is only provided to those that report to Upper Marlboro daily)

Essential Responsibilities: The Field Service Representative (FSR) works with customers in the multi-family housing industry to provide operational solutions for their maintenance supply needs. The FSR supports with inventory management, placing orders, product consultation and problem solving. He or she will serve as the customer's primary operational contact and will ensure complete satisfaction with deliveries, products and services.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 1-3 years of experience with trade work, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC
• Ability to professionally engage with customers in the field and by phone.
• Willingness to spend the majority of your work day with local travel throughout MD, DC and VA
• Computer proficiency to include Outlook, Word and basic Excel.
• Keen attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic math skills multiplication, division, fractions
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• A valid Driver's License and safe driving history
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
