Cowbell Cyber is hiring a Senior IT Engineer to join our DevOps team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Perform regular and ad-hoc vulnerability and malware scans to identify unauthorized access to data systems and malicious code activity such as trojans, root kits, backdoors, bots, or malware
  • Perform initial incident triage, determining scope, urgency, and potential impact of security incidents
  • Maintain Security Infrastructure Components: SIEM, EndPoint Protection, WAF, Vulnerability Scanning, AWS Security, GCP Security
  • Provide compliance support for the IT team including: Drafting/ Revision IT Procedures Policies to meet growing company/ business needs, Certification Remediation (ISO27001, HIPPA, SoX, HiTrust, SOC2, and etc., Supporting IT activities (Infrastructure, system deployment) to ensure alignment with Change Control and internal policies, Supporting SaaS Administration of a large portfolio of systems, Supporting the Security Group with Identifying/ Resolving potential vulnerabilities,
  • Excellent writing skills and experience drafting IT compliance documentation (technical process, compliance procedures, audit responses, etc.) for release to internal teams, auditors , or government regulators
  • Technical knowledge and hands on experience with firewalls in an enterprise environment, including VPN administration for end user and site-to-site support
  • Maintain a fluid and well-organized inventory and storage system for all IT hardware
  • Manage & maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) Platforms.
  • Create, customize, and package scripts and applications for deployment on Mac OS
  • Administer cloud services e.g. GSuite, Slack, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Office365, Zoom
  • Support executing the onboarding and offboarding process
  • Implement IT related automations and workflows to further improve the IT self serve infrastructure
  • Setup and manage IT software systems  - VPN, Backup/Recovery services
  • Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations experience
