Job description

Generates, revises, compiles, debugs and writes simple to moderately complex business, scientific, or software computer programs. Develops flow charts and diagrams outlining process steps in operation; develops and revises program code; prepares documentation of program development, modifications and operating instructions; conducts program tests and makes modifications to code as needed; and may be required to analyze system capabilities to resolve input/output problems.
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Cybersecurity Programmer for the GPS Control Segment (GCS) team in Colorado Springs solving challenges in supporting our customer's mission of delivering and sustaining reliable GPS capabilities to America's warfighters, allies, and civilian users; and we're looking for motivated self-driven technologists to join us.
In this role, you will:
Maintain the GPS Defensive Cyber Operations Tool Suite as a best in class solution.
Identify, develop, and implement resilient countermeasures to reduce risk to the enterprise.
The successful candidate will have basic knowledge of:
Linux (e.g. Red Hat, Ubuntu)
Associate's degree from an accredited college in Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance
Occasional travel may be required to military installations in Colorado and California.
